Veterinarian & Owner—College Boulevard Animal Hospital
Born and raised for most of his childhood in Shawnee, except for a year living in New Zealand, Dr. Pippin has always known that he wanted to be a veterinarian. From breeding hamsters, rabbits, and sand boas to owning nearly every type of rodent, reptile, fish, or bird that he could get his hands on before he even had a driver’s license, Dr. Pippin has enjoyed animals since the time he could walk. Expanding his knowledge of animals, he volunteered for 2 years at Operation Wildlife and then worked at Pet Stop all through high school.
Dr. Pippin attended Kansas State University for both his undergraduate curriculum and veterinary school, where he graduated in 2011. And while achieving the degrees were obviously the reason he was in Manhattan, meeting his wife Kaley was the most important part of his time there. They now have 2 wonderful children, Kate & Kelson. Away from work, Dr. Pippin leads a very active lifestyle. A former motorcycle racer, he won 4 championships before hanging up his motorcycle leathers and attending veterinary school. He now contents himself competing in a spec Porsche race series in an ’87 924S at racetracks across the US and thus far holds one track lap record and has won one national championship. Mountain biking, traveling, scuba diving, and innumerable home improvement projects (ask him about the garage he built!) round out the rest of his hobbies.
Whether it's a wellness check, a surgical consultation, or care for your exotic pet, Dr. Pippin is here to help.
